The standard behind it
Built on the international standard, ISO 27269
Your passport uses the International Patient Summary, the global standard for sharing essential health information across borders. It's not a format we invented. It was created by the world's health-standards bodies and is the same structure already used for cross-border care in Europe.
Why a doctor abroad will actually trust it
When you hand someone your passport in a clinic far from home, they're not being asked to trust an app. They're looking at a format their world already recognises.
Your passport follows ISO 27269, the International Patient Summary, the globally recognised standard for the exact situation you're in: needing care in a country that isn't yours. It was built jointly by the major health-standards organisations — ISO, HL7, CEN, IHE and SNOMED International — and it's the same data structure used for cross-border care across Europe.
That's the difference between a note you typed and a document a clinician knows how to read.
